Pelican Bay is a Tarrant County city on Eagle Mountain Lake’s northwestern side. It incorporated in 1981 after developing from a lakeside settlement. Its municipal identity is separate from nearby Azle, and the presence of the lake does not make every property a waterfront parcel.

### Check at the address, not the town name

- Confirm municipal boundaries and any documented shoreline or access rights; review the current lake and flood information for the particular lot.
- School attendance zones, flood risk, HOA obligations, utilities and property taxes follow the exact address. Use current records: [TEA school district locator](https://tea.texas.gov/families-and-students/school-district-locator/school-district-locator?ref=tx.co), [FEMA flood maps](https://msc.fema.gov/portal/home?ref=tx.co), [county appraisal districts](https://comptroller.texas.gov/taxes/property-tax/county-directory/?ref=tx.co).
