Texas Christian University is the main institutional landmark in this part of Fort Worth. University Drive and Berry Street connect the campus with nearby commercial streets, while the Fort Worth Zoo is another destination in the wider University area.

The city has a Berry/University form-based district and a TCU residential overlay, so nearby streets do not all share the same development context. Campus activity and major sporting events also provide a different picture of the area from an ordinary weekday.

### Places to know

**Texas Christian University.** A university campus with academic, cultural and sporting destinations.

**University Drive and Berry Street.** Commercial and transportation reference points around the campus.

**Fort Worth Zoo area.** An additional visitor destination in the wider University district.

### Check at the address, not the town name

- Review the property’s zoning, the TCU residential overlay and any Berry/University district provisions using the actual parcel.
- Visit during a campus event as well as a routine weekday to assess access and parking arrangements on the specific street.
- School attendance zones, flood risk, HOA obligations, utilities and property taxes follow the exact address.
