Getting to know Oak Trail Shores

Oak Trail Shores is an unincorporated Hood County community northwest of Granbury on the southwestern side of Lake Granbury. The reservoir is on the Brazos River, but properties within the community differ in their relationship to the shoreline. The community is within the broader Granbury area rather than a separate incorporated city.

Check at the address, not the town name

  • Verify association requirements, flood information, and any documented lake access for the individual lot; a Granbury mailing address does not establish city services.
  • School attendance zones, flood risk, HOA obligations, utilities and property taxes follow the exact address. Use current records: TEA school district locator, FEMA flood maps, county appraisal districts.
