West Tawakoni

West Tawakoni is an incorporated Hunt County city on the western side of Lake Tawakoni. Its city park sits on the shoreline north of State Highway 276. East Tawakoni is a different municipality in Rains County, and Lake Tawakoni State Park is another separate destination, so those place names should not be used interchangeably.
